My brother is here for a visit from Wisconsin and one of the things he wanted to do was take a trek through the cemetery near me. There are a few famous names buried there, but it’s also a beautiful place to wander. To the west, you can see the Olympic Mountains and to the east you can see Lake Washington. It’s a peaceful spot not far from the hubbub of the city where you can get away for a few moments of reflection. We had a pleasant morning walk with a few lovely photo opportunities. And somehow I don’t think the current residents mind much that people come to enjoy the beauty of the place where they’ve been laid to rest.
